Vision

The Penny Teacher Vision

My intention for The Penny Teacher is to create a virtual safe space for those struggling with their mental and physical wellness. My goal is that The Penny Teacher can not only inspire, but empower people to take the first step to becoming healthier mentally and physically on their own terms, with their own means.

We all come from different walks of life, yet what is the one thing that we're all trying to pursue? Happiness. Yes, happiness changes as we go through life and it comes in different forms, but each one of us has an idea of what we personally think happiness looks like and feels like. In every form of happiness, it involves our body and our mind. In order to be happy, I truly believe that it starts with the wellness of our mind and body.

Find a penny, pick it up; all day long, you'll have good luck.

To be happy, we could all use a little luck, but what if you could be your own luck? What if in being your own luck, you can also bring someone else luck?

The experiences that I carry may differ from the experiences that you or the person beside you carries, however, the experiences that I carry might just help inspire someone else to finally make that one change in their life that would set themselves on the path of happiness, and the experiences that you carry might just help me or the person next to you change an aspect in their life that would spark happiness.

When 'I' is replaced with 'We', even 'Illness' becomes 'Wellness'. - Malcom X

My hope is that The Penny Teacher becomes a community of bright minds with open hearts that just want to help better themselves while at the same time, inspiring others to become better; better as in better than you were yesterday, better on your own terms.

Be your own lucky penny. Be someone's lucky penny.

I got you. We got you. You got you.
